Kennedy Town Swimming Pool open for public

One of VMZINC’s new projects, the first phase of Hong Kong Kennedy Town Swimming Pool, was open to the public in May. The new complex is uniquely designed by Terry Farrell & Partners. The public can enjoy a fabulous view of Victoria Harbour from the swimming pool. VMZINC Standing Seam system has fulfilled architect’s design in this project. Surface aspects: QUARTZ-ZINC. The second phase of the work is scheduled to be completed in 2016.(May/2011)

VMZINC opened new office in Chengdu, Sichuan.

Stone Museum  

LiuZhou Stone Museum finished in VMZINC

Liuzhou Stone Museum: a brand new project in zinc designed by Architecture Design Institute of Tianjin University, has just finished and opened for exhibitions end of 2010. The design tends to harmonize with the environment and the stone theme. The architects chose VMZ Standing Seam the most flexible roofing system and different aspects: QUARTZ-ZINC and PIGMENTO green to realize their creativities. (Dec/2010)

 

Another VMZINC new project just finished - Grottoes Museum

One of our new projects in Datong just finish in October in Datong. This Grottoes Museum designed by New Era Design Co. is located just inside the famous Yungang Grottoes scenic area. It has used around 10,000 sqm VMZ Standing Seam with QUARTZ-ZINC aspect. (Oct/2010)

Pavilion of Future  

VMZINC wins Expo 2010 project: Pavilion of Future

Expo Pavilion of Future is the refurbishment of the 110-year-old Nanshi power plant. Officials said it is expected to attract more than 70 million visitors from home and abroad. The new site will become the venue for showcasing various environmental protection technologies such as wind, solar and hydroelectric energy, in Expo 2010.Approximately 4,000 m² of VMZ Interlocking panel will be used for cladding the building. Expo Axis at Shanghai World Expo 2010

Expo Axis will be Shangai world expo's main building, and will be located at it's center. 1,045 m long and a hundred meters wide, it will be the largest individual project of the Expo. Together with the China Pavilion, World Expo Center, Performance Art Center and Theme Pavilion, Expo Axis will be part of "one axis with four pavilions" scene, which is meant to be the core of the Expo Park. This will remain after Expo 2010 as a permanent symbolic element of the city. Around 4500 m² VMZ Composite panel will be used for cladding. (May/2010)
